The Pan India Solar Sector Association (PISSA) organised a business and networking event on August 22, 2026, at Radisson Blu, Mahipalpur, New Delhi, bringing together more than 150 professionals from across the solar industry, including EPC companies, manufacturers, developers, entrepreneurs and business associates.
The event featured technical and educational sessions covering electrical and installation safety, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and other aspects of solar project development. Presentations were also delivered by participating event partners.
A solar-focused quiz and lucky draw were conducted during the programme, with prizes distributed to the participants and winner.
The gathering provided an opportunity for industry stakeholders to exchange views on market developments, discuss business opportunities and explore potential partnerships. PISSA said registrations had to be temporarily closed due to venue capacity constraints.
During the event, attendees were also informed about PISSA’s upcoming workshop on Solar and BESS, scheduled for September 25, 2026. The workshop is expected to involve representatives from government departments and ministries, including MNRE, MSDE, NSDC and SCGJ, along with industry representatives and PISSA members.
Dr Rajesh Arora delivered a presentation on electrical and installation safety, while Sunil Bhatnagar addressed BESS-related topics.
PISSA currently has more than 2,000 members and is a registered association. The event concluded with a networking lunch.
