RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd., India’s first integrated manufacturer of solar PV modules and key components, successfully hosted the second edition of Anusandhan – India’s PV Encapsulants & Backsheets Technology Conclave on 17 July 2026 at Crowne Plaza, Mayur Vihar, New Delhi.
The conclave brought together leading solar module manufacturers, EPC companies, technology experts and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas on the latest developments in photovoltaic materials, module reliability and manufacturing technologies.
As India’s solar manufacturing sector continues to scale rapidly, this serves as a dedicated platform for technical dialogue, enabling the industry to collaborate on material innovations that improve module performance, durability and long-term reliability.
A key highlight of the event was the launch of two new additions to RenewSys’ advanced materials portfolio.
PRESERV® 300 TF USB is an Ultra-Low Water Vapour Transmission Rate (WVTR) backsheet developed for Glass-to-Backsheet (G2BS) modules. With a WVTR of approximately 0.01 g/m²/day, it delivers exceptional moisture protection while offering a lighter alternative to conventional Glass-to-Glass module construction.
RenewSys also introduced CONSERV® EPE ACE, a next-generation encapsulant incorporating Anti-Acid Grafted EVA technology to enhance long-term module stability while helping manufacturers optimise costs without compromising performance.
The conclave featured technical sessions on the impact of Bill of Materials (BOM) selection on module reliability, advances in encapsulant and backsheet technologies, and the material innovations driving the next generation of high-efficiency solar modules.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd., said, “India’s solar manufacturing industry is evolving rapidly, and collaboration will be critical to sustaining this growth. Through this meeting, we have created a platform where the industry can exchange ideas, discuss emerging technologies and collectively advance photovoltaic manufacturing. The launch of PRESERV® 300 TF USB and CONSERV® EPE ACE reflects our continued commitment to developing innovative materials that enhance module performance and reliability.”
Mr. Rajesh Singh, Chief Executive Officer – Encapsulants & Backsheets, RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd., added, “Every innovation we develop is driven by the evolving needs of module manufacturers. PRESERV® 300 TF USB addresses the demand for advanced moisture barrier solutions, while CONSERV® EPE ACE delivers an optimal balance of performance, durability and cost efficiency. Together, these products strengthen our portfolio of high-performance PV materials.”
The event concluded with interactive technical discussions and networking sessions, reinforcing the importance of innovation and industry collaboration in strengthening India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, Anusandhan continues to establish itself as a valuable industry platform for advancing photovoltaic materials, encouraging technical collaboration and supporting the future of solar manufacturing in India.
