Pace Digitek Secures INR 7,099 Million BESS EPC and Long-Term O&M Contract from NLC India Renewables

Pace Digitek Limited, an integrated provider of energy solutions and telecom infrastructure, has secured a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) EPC and long-term O&M contract from NLC India Renewables Limited for the implementation of a 250 MW/500 MWh BESS project in Tamil Nadu.

The contract value stands at ₹7,099 million (including GST) and includes complete Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) execution excluding supply of power transformers, along with 12-year comprehensive Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services.

The scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing-linked supply, installation, testing, commissioning and associated civil, structural and infrastructure works for deployment of the 250 MW/500 MWh BESS project across multiple locations in Tamil Nadu.

This marks the second BESS order win for FY2027, building on the strong momentum achieved in FY2026, during which the Company reported Energy segment order inflows of ₹58,147 million, driven by increasing traction in BESS and renewable-linked opportunities. With this order, Pace Digitek’s FY2027 year-to-date Energy segment order wins have reached 14,119 million, while cumulative Energy segment order wins stand at 97,869 million.

With expanding manufacturing capabilities, EPC expertise and long-term lifecycle service offerings, Pace Digitek remains well positioned in the evolving utility-scale BESS segment.

The project structure is strategically significant as it combines manufacturing-linked supply with long-term O&M services, supporting lifecycle revenue visibility and stronger long-term customer engagement. The multi-location deployment also demonstrates the Company’s execution scalability across utility-scale energy storage projects.

With successive wins across leading utilities, Pace Digitek continues to scale its BESS portfolio. This order expands the Company’s cumulative BESS project portfolio to over 5 GWh, spanning utility-scale storage, renewable integration and grid support applications, further reinforcing its position as a vertically integrated BESS player with strong execution and long-term service capabilities.

  • Trinasolar to Supply Modules for 27 MW NSW Green Hydrogen Project

Trinasolar to Supply Modules for 27 MW NSW Green Hydrogen Project

Trinasolar has been selected to supply solar modules for the Good Earth Green Hydrogen and Ammonia (GEGHA) project near Moree in New South Wales, marking a key milestone for what is set to become the state’s first green hydrogen and ammonia production facility.

The project’s 27 MW solar farm will be powered by Trinasolar’s 510 W and 515 W Vertex S+ (NEG18R.28) modules, which feature n-type i-TOPCon technology and a dual-glass design. The company said the modules were selected for their durability, weather resistance and low degradation, supporting long-term renewable energy generation and improved project economics.

Construction of the facility is currently underway. Once operational, the GEGHA project is expected to produce up to 200 tonnes of green hydrogen annually and approximately 4,500 tonnes of low-carbon ammonia. The project is intended to replace imported fossil fuel-based fertilisers and contribute to emissions reductions in the agricultural sector.

Trinasolar said its n-type i-TOPCon technology helps minimise light-induced degradation, enabling stable energy output over the project’s lifetime. The company added that the technology is designed to support lower lifecycle costs and enhance long-term performance.

According to Edison Zhou, Head of Australia and New Zealand at Trinasolar, the project highlights the growing role of solar energy in supporting emerging industries such as green hydrogen and low-carbon fertiliser production by providing renewable electricity for the facility.

Joe Cumming, Senior Project Manager at Hiringa Energy, said the GEGHA project has been designed as a commercial pilot for decentralised hydrogen and fertiliser production that could be replicated across regional Australia. He noted that Trinasolar’s experience in the Australian market and its dual-glass module technology were key factors in the module selection for the solar farm.
