  • Qbits Energy Appoints Dilip Joshi as Brand Ambassador

Qbits Energy Appoints Dilip Joshi as Brand Ambassador

Surat-based solar inverter manufacturer Qbits Energy India Pvt. Ltd. has appointed veteran actor Dilip Joshi as its brand ambassador, in a move the company says is aimed at supporting its channel partners at the point of sale.

“Rooftop solar is a twenty-five-year decision made by someone who cannot inspect the product,” says Nirav Dhanani, Founder and CEO. “It is bought on trust, and trust is what this partnership brings to our channel.”

Qbits manufactures on-grid inverters across its TLS, TLD and TLC series alongside a hybrid range. Products are BIS, IEC and ISO certified, carry IP66-rated enclosures and 12-year warranty coverage. The company reports 10,000+ installations across 50+ cities through 22+ channel partners.

The manufacturer’s principal differentiator is AI-powered monitoring delivered over WhatsApp — daily generation reports and instant fault alerts sent to the customer’s existing messaging platform rather than a dedicated app, with inverter data hosted on Indian servers.

The association will run across television, digital and print through FY 2026–27, with new point-of-sale material being distributed to channel partners.

  • Bondada Engineering Wins NTPC REL Order for India’s Largest 100 MWh Vanadium Flow Battery Project

Bondada Engineering Wins NTPC REL Order for India’s Largest 100 MWh Vanadium Flow Battery Project

Bondada Engineering Limited, one of Bharat’s leading renewable energy EPC companies, has secured an order from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, for the development of a 100 MWh Vanadium Redox Flow Battery Energy Storage System (VRFB BESS) at the Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat.

The project will be executed with Delectrik Systems Pvt. Ltd. as the technology partner and includes 10 years of Operations & Maintenance (O&M). The award represents Bharat’s first and largest grid-scale Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) Battery Energy Storage System project, underscoring Bondada’s growing capabilities in executing clean energy infrastructure projects based on emerging technologies.

The project marks a significant milestone for Bondada Engineering as it forays into next-generation Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) technologies and further strengthens its position in Bharat’s rapidly evolving Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) ecosystem.

Designed to support the integration of renewable energy into the national grid, the project will leverage Vanadium Redox Flow Battery technology, which offers several advantages over conventional Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery systems. The technology also aligns with Bharat’s vision of strengthening energy security by reducing long-term dependence on imported cells from significantly limited sources, through the utilization of domestic vanadium resources or import from diverse sources.

Bharat’s energy storage sector is poised for exponential growth. The Nation has set a target of deploying approximately 236 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems by 2030, compared to the country’s current installed capacity of nearly 3.3 GWh. As renewable energy capacity expands rapidly, long-duration energy storage technologies such as VRFB are expected to play a critical role in ensuring grid stability and enabling the country’s clean energy transition.

Commenting on the development, Rear Admiral R. Sreenivas, VSM (Retd), Group Chief Executive Officer, Bondada Engineering Limited said: “This award from NTPC Renewable Energy is a defining milestone in Bondada Engineering’s growth journey. Securing Bharat’s first and largest grid-scale Vanadium Redox Flow Battery Energy Storage project demonstrates our ability to execute advanced clean energy infrastructure and reinforces our commitment to supporting Bharat’s energy transition. As the country accelerates renewable energy adoption, long-duration energy storage technologies will become increasingly critical in ensuring reliable and resilient power systems. We are proud to partner with NTPC Renewable Energy in delivering this landmark project that will contribute to building the energy infrastructure of the future.”

As Bharat continues its journey towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy future, Bondada Engineering remains committed to delivering innovative, technology-driven infrastructure solutions that create long-term value for customers, stakeholders, and the nation.
