Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) reported a 23% year-on-year increase in EBITDA from power supply to ₹10,865 crore in FY26, supported by robust renewable capacity additions and higher energy generation during the year. Revenue from power supply rose 22% to ₹11,602 crore, while operational renewable energy capacity expanded 35% year-on-year to 19.3 GW.
The company added 5.1 GW of greenfield renewable energy capacity during FY26, compared with 3.3 GW in the previous year, marking its highest-ever annual capacity addition. Most of the new capacity was commissioned at resource-rich locations in Khavda, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, contributing to higher power generation and operational performance.
Energy sales during the year increased 34% to 37,567 million units, while the company maintained an EBITDA margin of 91%. Cash profit also rose 11% year-on-year to ₹5,399 crore, reflecting strong cash generation from its operating portfolio.
AGEL also expanded its energy storage portfolio by installing 1,376 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity at Khavda, one of the world’s largest single-location deployments. The company is targeting more than 10,000 MWh of BESS capacity by FY27 to strengthen the integration of renewable energy into the grid.
Commenting on the performance, Sagar Adani, Executive Director, Adani Green Energy, said FY26 was a landmark year for the company, driven by record greenfield capacity addition and continued progress at the Khavda renewable energy project. He noted that the expansion reinforces AGEL’s leadership in India’s renewable energy sector and supports its long-term growth strategy.
