SolarYaan Unveils Its New Hybrid, BESS and All-in-One Inverter Portfolio

As India celebrates its 80th Independence Day, Solaryaan has announced the launch of its biggest-ever and most comprehensive inverter portfolio, strengthening its vision of enabling greater energy independence for Indian homes, businesses and industries. Solaryaan is introducing new Hybrid and All-in-One (AIO) inverters for the Next Generation to make them Energy Independent.

The portfolio brings together grid-tied inverters, hybrid inverters, All-in-One energy storage systems, BESS and microinverters, covering applications ranging from residential solar installations to commercial and industrial projects. The launch marks another step in Solaryaan’s evolution from an inverter-focused company towards an integrated energy solutions provider.

Manoj Patel, Founder & CMD, Solaryaan, said, “Independence today is also about having greater control over the energy we depend on. Our biggest-ever inverter portfolio reflects Solaryaan’s belief that the next phase of India’s solar journey will be defined by generation, storage and intelligent energy management working together. With our expanded hybrid and energy storage solutions, we are enabling customers to generate their own power, store it and use it more intelligently. This is our contribution towards powering India’s journey to energy independence.”

At the heart of the new portfolio is Solaryaan’s expanded range of hybrid energy solutions, designed to enable customers to generate, store and intelligently manage their energy. The SYH Series, a three-phase hybrid inverter range covering 5kT–15kT, is compatible with Solaryaan’s proprietary high-voltage batteries. The SYH3 Series, covering 15kT–30kT, is designed for larger energy requirements. It features three MPPTs and two battery sets, allowing greater flexibility across different applications. For larger commercial and industrial applications, the SYH Series 50kT–125kT offers separate terminals for grid, generation and load, supports parallel operation of up to 10 inverters on-grid and four off-grid.

Chirag Patel, CEO, Solaryaan, added, “The new range of inverters are specially designed around India’s energy needs. The expanded range comes at a time when India’s solar market is moving beyond simply generating renewable electricity towards storage, resilience and intelligent energy management. It is feeding the company’s broader ambition to build an integrated clean energy ecosystem.”

Solaryaan is also introducing its AIO Series, a single-phase energy storage system combining a hybrid inverter and a 10.24 kWh battery pack in an integrated solution. It offers 6,000 life cycles, a 10-year on-site warranty, 95% depth of discharge and IP66 protection, along with double off-grid backup capability and a one-channel UPS function.

The portfolio is further complemented by Solaryaan’s microinverter range, which includes 600W–1200W and 1600W–2400W variants. The systems offer independent module-level monitoring, low DC voltage, high generation efficiency and more. The micro inverters are an important part of the residential solar power unit.

Solaryaan introduced Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) which is an intelligent energy storage solution engineered for commercial, industrial, and utility applications. Designed to store excess solar power and stabilize energy demands, it integrates seamlessly with the hybrid and micro inverters as part of their expanding clean-tech portfolio.

  • Hindustan Zinc Raises Renewable Power Share to 22%, Targets 70% by FY28

Hindustan Zinc Raises Renewable Power Share to 22%, Targets 70% by FY28

Hindustan Zinc, an integrated zinc and silver producer, has increased the share of renewable power in its current overall power consumption to 22 percent, up from approximately 18 percent in FY26, marking continued progress in its clean energy transition. The company is progressing towards meeting approximately 70 percent of its overall power requirements through renewable energy by FY28, as it scales clean energy adoption across its mining and smelting operations.

Across its business units in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, Hindustan Zinc has continued to strengthen its renewable power generation capabilities. During FY26, the company generated 892 million units of green power, compared with 632 million units in FY25. The increase in green power generation, along with renewable power procurement, has contributed to the steady growth of renewable energy in the company’s overall power mix.

The company is progressing towards its ambition of sourcing 70 percent of its total electricity requirements from renewable sources by FY28. To support this target, Hindustan Zinc expanded its round-the-clock renewable energy power delivery agreement with Serentica Renewables from 450 MW to 530 MW. In addition, Hindustan Zinc is advancing its energy transition by upgrading power connectivity from the state transmission network to the central transmission utility, alongside implementing innovative in-house projects that support a cleaner, more resilient and energy-efficient future. Key initiatives include enhancing waste heat recovery boiler steam turbine generation through efficiency improvements and harnessing renewable energy through floating solar installations on water ponds.

The organisation’s renewable energy portfolio combines solar, wind and energy storage solutions to enable reliable round-the-clock clean power across the company’s operations. The arrangement is expected to progressively increase the contribution of renewable energy to Hindustan Zinc’s overall power mix as additional capacity is integrated.

Highlighting the company’s accelerating clean energy transition, Amarendu Prakash, CEO, Hindustan Zinc, said, “The next chapter of growth in metals and mining will be defined by our ability to produce more with a progressively lower environmental footprint. With renewable power now accounting for 22 percent of our power consumption and our ambition to take this to 70 percent by FY28, we are demonstrating that clean energy is not simply a decarbonization lever; it is fundamental to creating a more resilient, competitive and responsible business. By transforming the way we Sensitivity: Public (C4) power our operations, we are strengthening Hindustan Zinc for a low-carbon future while supporting India’s journey towards energy security and a Viksit Bharat.”

These efforts form an integral part of Hindustan Zinc’s broader sustainability roadmap and support its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTI)-validated decarbonisation pathway towards achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 or sooner. During the year, the company continued to strengthen its position as a sustainability leader, building on its recognition as the world’s most sustainable metals and mining company by the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment and its membership of the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM), the highest global benchmark for responsible mining.

Hindustan Zinc, a Vedanta Group company, advances its next phase of growth and moves towards a multi-metal future, clean energy will remain central to its strategy of producing metals essential for India’s growth and the global energy transition through increasingly sustainable and responsible operations.
