    KP Energy Limited has executed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the development of a 100 MW grid-connected wind power project under the company’s Independent Power Producer (IPP) segment. The agreement marks another milestone for the company, taking its cumulative IPP portfolio beyond 250 MW.

    The PPA has been signed following the Letter of Intent (LoI) issued by GUVNL on March 30, 2026, under the Wind Tender Phase X tariff-based competitive bidding process. The project also received the necessary tariff and PPA approval from the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC).

    Under the agreement, KP Energy will develop the 100 MW wind power project at an approved tariff of ₹3.435 per unit for a period of 25 years. The Scheduled Commencement of Supply Date (SCSD) has been fixed as July 30, 2028, which is 24 months from the execution of the PPA.

    The company stated that the latest agreement reinforces its position as a long-term renewable energy partner for India’s leading power utilities while strengthening its presence in the country’s growing wind energy sector.

    According to the regulatory filing, the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, and there is no promoter or related-party interest involved in the transaction.
