GRE Renew Enertech Limited has incorporated two wholly owned subsidiaries, Solarsource Energy Private Limited and Solarcatch Energy Private Limited, as part of its strategy to expand and streamline its solar power project development activities. The two entities were incorporated on August 25 and August 29, 2026, respectively.
Both newly incorporated companies will operate in the renewable energy and solar power sector and are intended to undertake activities related to the development, establishment, ownership, operation and maintenance of solar power projects. The subsidiaries will also be able to undertake allied activities permitted under their respective constitutional documents.
Renew Enertech has subscribed to the initial share capital of both companies through cash consideration and will hold 100 per cent ownership in each subsidiary. The company has invested ₹0.01 crore in Solarsource Energy Private Limited and ₹0.01 crore in Solarcatch Energy Private Limited, with the shares subscribed at ₹10 per equity share.
Solarsource Energy Private Limited was incorporated on August 25, 2026, while Solarcatch Energy Private Limited was incorporated on August 29, 2026. Both companies have been established in India and will function as dedicated entities for solar energy-related business opportunities.
The incorporation of the two subsidiaries is aimed at enabling focused development and execution of identified renewable energy opportunities. By creating separate entities for solar power projects, GRE Renew Enertech is looking to establish a more structured platform for undertaking project-specific activities as it expands its presence in the renewable energy sector.
The move comes as GRE Renew Enertech continues to focus on rooftop and ground-mounted solar solutions, including solar EPC and RESCO-based projects for industrial and commercial customers. The company provides services covering the design, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning and maintenance of solar photovoltaic projects.
The company’s latest corporate restructuring also provides it with dedicated platforms through which future solar power projects can be developed and operated. The creation of wholly owned subsidiaries can allow project activities to be managed independently while remaining under the strategic control of the parent company.
The incorporation was disclosed by GRE Renew Enertech under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, following the necessary approvals and registration with the Registrar of Companies under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
GRE Renew Enertech has strengthened its corporate structure for pursuing opportunities in the solar power segment. The company is positioning the new subsidiaries to support the development, ownership and operation of solar projects, while continuing to expand its renewable energy portfolio.
