KPI Green Energy Limited (“KPI Green Energy” or “the Company”), a leading Gujarat-based renewable energy company and part of KP Group, has energized 630+ MW DC of capacity over the past three months across its IPP – Independent Power Producer and EPC – Engineering, Procurement, Construction businesses – the highest-ever capacity energized by the Company in a single quarter since inception.
This milestone spans a diversified mix of IPP assets and projects executed under the Company’s EPC vertical, underscoring the scale, speed and consistency of KPI Green Energy’s project execution engine. It marks yet another step forward in the Company’s journey toward its stated ambition of scaling capacity in line with KP Group’s broader target of over 10 GW of renewable capacity by 2030 and reinforces its position as one of India’s fastest-growing renewable energy platforms.
The Company has energized more capacity in this single three-month period than in the cumulative ~17 years since its inception through December 2024, when total energized capacity stood at 533 MW across both IPP and EPC segments.
Dr. Faruk G. Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, KPI Green Energy, said, ” Crossing 630+ MW DC of energization in a single quarter is the highest-ever pace of capacity addition in our history, and a clear reflection of the execution capability we have built across both our IPP and EPC businesses. Every megawatt we energize brings us closer to our long-term capacity goals and to India’s energy transition targets. We remain focused on scaling responsibly, strengthening our annuity income base, and delivering sustained value to all our stakeholders.”
With this achievement, KPI Green Energy continues to strengthen its operational portfolio and order-book conversion, positioning the Company for sustained growth as it advances toward its long-term capacity targets in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy sector.
